I seem to have an affinity with writing about places that I've never been (or don't exist)!

From the 2004 CD "Reach For The Sky", this was political in it's origin in regards to the continuing actions in Iraq. I'd like to think I achieved the desolation and loneliness of a "Nowhere, USA". Actually, it's the wonderful Michelle Preisler McComber, with her haunting harmonies, who achieves that.

This song was featured on TEXAS MUSIC MAGAZINE's 2005 Tex-Mix Compilation CD... and in a series of fortunate events, could be said to be the catalyst for what became Mysterious Ways, my U2 tribute band that played all over Texas - and even Afghanistan - from 2005-2013.

Also, after writing this song, I found out there is actually a "Nowhere, AZ" - I don't think I'm going there.
